CIH BUYING GROUP MAKES OPTIMUM SELECTION
AV furniture specialist Optimum International has been
selected as a national supplier to buying group Combined Independents Holdings
(CIH).CIH is part of Euronics International, Europe’s
largest buying group for independent electrical retailers. With over 700 members in England, Scotland,
Wales and Northern Ireland, CIH offers brown and white goods as well as
accessories to over 1,500 stores.
After many years of successful trading with CIH’s
London and Southend groups, Optimum has now been appointed a fully fledged UK
supplier, with access to electrical stores nationwide. The company will also be exhibiting at the
annual CIH Trade Show at Birmingham’s NEC on 9-10 September 2007.
Optimum’s Managing Director John Ogden says: “Over the
years we have built strong, long-term partnerships with a great many
independent electrical retailers. Expanding into the nationwide CIH
network is another major step forward for Optimum, which will enable us to develop
this strategy further.”
