Optimum International is leading the way in AV furniture
design with the launch of its first ever range of stylish cabinet units.
AV furniture specialist Optimum is marking its tenth
anniversary with a bold addition to its product portfolio. The new Precision
range features Optimum’s first cabinet style stand for AV systems.
Precision cabinet units are designed to provide a perfect
platform for LCD and plasma TV screens from 26 to 55 inches. The contemporary design combines glass,
honeycomb wood and a satin black finish to complement the styling of the latest
AV equipment.
Precision cabinet units are supplied fully assembled. They feature a 10mm toughened glass top sheet
and satin black glass door panels, with aluminium trim. The interior of each cabinet offers enclosed
storage space for DVDs, with an integrated shelf to house remote controls.
The Precision cabinet unit also features 10mm toughened
glass shelving for AV components, such as DVD players, digital receivers and
games consoles. Each shelf has cable
management access at the rear of the unit.
Optimum’s Managing Director John Ogden says: “The Precision
cabinet range is a confident and bold design statement for Optimum. It forms part of a move towards offering
consumers a wider, alternative choice of specialist AV furniture.”He adds: “Over the next twelve months the AV furniture

contemporary designs to excite consumers.”
The Precision cabinet unit is available in two sizes. The CAB900 model (d450mm/h420mm/w900mm)
features AV component shelving and one storage cabinet. It is designed to accommodate LCD and plasma
screens up to 32 inches and has a RRP of £249.
